Historic significance and natural beauty make the iconic Belle Isle Conservatory an ideal place to tie the knot. Visiting hot spots in downtown Detroit after the ceremony was a great way to celebrate their love for each other and the city they adore.

Behind the Scenes

I met Kimberly and Bobby on the day of their wedding. We communicated through email, and I knew from the start it would be a day filled with adventure. Thanks to Fairytale Productions, one of the companies I subcontract from, I was glad to be connected with this lovely couple. After a small ceremony surrounded by loved ones, we had a walk through the conservatory. By looking at the pictures, you would never tell that that place was filled with people visiting the greenhouse. After we arrived downtown, the request was to capture the couple in front of iconic Detroit sites. We achieved this by immersing ourselves in city life through walking, dancing, and engaging in meaningful interactions. My goal was to evoke the feeling of old Detroit, and we made this happen through their honest connections with each other and the city they love.
